Job Overview
NLCS (Singapore) is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable University and Careers Guidance Counsellor to join the team from August 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students as they navigate their post-school choices, helping them to identify and achieve ambitious goals for university and career pathways.
The postholder will provide individual and group counselling, develop tailored guidance resources, and lead workshops for students and parents. They will have experience preparing students for entry into leading universities across the world, including the UK, US, and other global destinations, and will be confident guiding students through the complexities of application processes.
Working closely with the Sixth Form and Senior School Leadership Teams, the Counsellor will ensure that each student receives expert advice and personalised support that reflects the academic ambition and ethos of NLCS (Singapore).
All members of staff are expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school.
